Swordfish Kabobs

Marinating this meaty fish makes it perfect for your grill or broiler.

  • pounds swordfish cut into 2-inch cubes

  • cup olive oil

  • juiced lemon
  • 1
  • teaspoon oregano
  • 1
  • minced onion
  • 1
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Sea salt
  • Lemon wedges
  • Serves 4


    1. Thread swordfish onto wooden skewers* and place in a large shallow dish. In a medium bowl combine oil, lemon juice, oregano, onion, pepper, and salt to taste. Pour over swordfish kabobs, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
    2. Adjust oven rack to highest setting. Preheat broiler.
    3. Remove kabobs from marinade; reserve marinade. Place kabobs on a baking sheet. Brush with reserved marinade. Broil kabobs 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork, turning often to cook evenly. Serve kabobs with additional lemon wedges.
